With Earth hour looming near I have taken a moment to think about this beautiful planet of ours and how we are all destroying it. I wish it was easier to change my evil ways, this world has been given to the people of today’s society wrapped in a pretty bright coloured package, and I dare say it glows. Unfortunately that glow is not as pretty as it appears. Why can’t it be a little easier for me to give up my vehicle and walk the kids to school, or all these other day to day luxeries we have all come to love? My grandmother got by without them. Mind you she never had any time to discover her true self either with raising ten kids on a tight budget. I think she would have loved my new fandangle washing machine/steamer/dryer, it beeps, buzzes and lghts up like a ufo. Sure beats washing by hand. But I feel so terribly guilty, so here and now I vow to begin taking steps towards the future to help make this world a safer and cleaner place for the future. I pray it’s not too late..

It gives me hope knowing that I am not the only person in this world who actually cares about the Planet! Although, so often I feel as if I am.
I am so over hearing people say that their personal impact won’t make a difference! Without a planet to live on, we won’t have anything else, so what use will growing their business be then?!
I sacrificed an Hour without Lights & Power, yet none of my Neighbours appeared to… I get so frustrated seeing & living in a world with such ignorant humans!
