liar, liar!

If you type liar in the google search, you will find so much information available for people who have been lied to, people who tell lies, even for people to learn how to lie successfully! I do understand there comes a time when we may all need to tell a little lie here or there to save someone’s feelings or perhaps the questions from small children about santa and the tooth fairy. But really, what I want to know is if some people regard lying and how much they can get away with as some kind of sport. Do they keep record and secretly high five themselves every time the the deception is successful? Another thing to consider is if you know or worse, are involved with a compulsive or pathological liar, how do you know where the lies end and the truth begins? Liars always keep secrets about stuff in general out of fear of somehow being revealed. Liars keep their mobiles on silent, never open emails in company of others and are always inspecific about their day or plans. A liar will also try to throw it back onto the other party and try to fill them with guilt about their lack of trust and suspicion. Whatever! They say if a toddler can lie from a very young age it’s a sign of intelligence, but if an adult lies its a sign of absolute stupidity and also very cruel to those decieved. In my opinion if you so badly want to decieve someone, why are you in this relationship in the first place?  I personally prefer honesty in all things, because for starters I don’t have to worry I might slip up one day and also I don’t walk around harbouring secrets that may someday cause me an illness or nervous breakdown.

• If you believe someone is lying, then change subject of a conversation quickly, a liar follows along willingly and becomes more relaxed. The guilty wants the subject changed; an innocent person may be confused by the sudden change in topics and will want to back to the previous subject.

• Using humor or sarcasm to avoid a subject.
